Hoy leo en “On The Mets Beat” (vía MLBTradeRumors.com) lo siguiente:
General manager Omar Minaya and his staff dined with Francisco Rodriguez for over four hours Sunday night at a nearby steakhouse, but Minaya was tight-lipped about the details upon his return to the Bellagio at roughly 11:30 p.m.
Minaya only smiled when asked whether an offer had been made, and repeated his plans to meet with Brian Fuentes and Trevor Hoffman, most likely on Monday. Minaya has said that he needed to talk with each of the candidates to get a feel if they would be a good fit in New York, along with the financial compensation, of course. Sunday’s meeting with K-Rod was supposed to be the next step in the process.
